Acorn have appointed James Thomlinson to supplement the -Total Loss Notification department.

James comes with engineering experience, plus PR and sales experience, making him the ideal candidate for working in the Total Loss team and speaking to claimants on a daily basis.

Representatives from Acorn Assessors attende the first annual motor conference entitled I Love Claims.

There were 75% of the Uk's top insurers there, many leading accident management, law and repairer firms who attended.

Acorn Assessors were happy to seem to be the only Independent Engineer firm that attended and next year we hope to have a strong er representation and perhaps to present at the conference itself.

For sometime we have had a PDA system that our road based engineer use to inspect vehicles from the site of inspection.

Our OnSite system has a direct connection to our claims management system which allows full 2 way realtime communication. the ongoing feedback from our engineers was that the system was a little tricky to use and they would prefer a larger screen.....
