An image based assessment will be carried out by our in house engineers from the estimate provided by repairers. The Audatex detailed estimate provides an exact breakdown of the repair process, categorized by Mechanical/Electrical/Trim (MET) items, body repair functions, paint operations, and any additional procedures necessary for the repair.

The repair methodology is validated using Thatcham escribe to ensure that the selected method is appropriate and that the repairer possesses the necessary tools and expertise to execute it as estimated.

Physical Reports

One of our engineers will conduct a thorough physical inspection of the vehicle. They will compile a detailed guide outlining all necessary repair work needed to restore the vehicle to its pre-accident state. This includes the replacement of parts, necessary repairs, specialist services, recovery costs, storage fees, and any questionable items. The report will also offer general insights into the vehicle’s condition and any relevant contributions. Additionally, it will include an assessment of the vehicle’s pre-accident value and, if applicable, an estimate of its salvage or scrap value.

Diminution report

A study examining the reduced worth of a vehicle, accounting for damages and repairs undertaken, while offering an estimated financial assessment of the anticipated decrease in value, referencing relevant precedent cases.

Valuations

Average Valuation from three of the main data valuation sources in the UK, Glass’s guide, Perysaco, and CAP ensuring a fair and reasonable value is achieved from the start

Reporting

Full report including comprehensive details of the vehicle specifications. Full colour, high quality photographs of the vehicle, including both number plates, mileage, chassis (VIN) number and multiple images as required of the full event of the damage.

Total Loss Negotiation

Negotiation of repair methods & costs with the repairer or pre-accident value agreement with the policy holder utilising our total loss team who can also instruct a recommended salvage agent.
